Teapots Dementia Carers Group:
Teapots stands for Time Out, Empathy, Advice, Peer-Support, Openness, Talking, Sharing
This group was inspired by the 100s of teapots found in Abbey Grange Tearoom and the comfort that can be found from chatting over a cuppa.
The group is open to anyone who cares for, or supports, someone living with dementia, whether a relative or a friend. If this is you, firstly, we want to say thank you. Thank you for all you do as a carer. We know it’s not easy. It can feel very lonely and isolating. That’s why we have started this group.
The aim of the group is to offer a listening ear, share hints, tips and knowledge and recognise how difficult caring can be. We will do this by covering different topics, peer support, linking with professionals and activities. The sessions are very informal and people can either stay for some or all of the time. Come along and get some much-needed timeout. You will be very welcome.

Come along and connect with others. You will be very welcome.
Every Thursday 11:30 – 13:00.
